Catching up

Getting the kids ready for school and all seems to be going along smootly. It's amazing how flexable Homeschooling can be. I actually look forward to this year. Maybe because it's our third year and i feel I have some areas down pretty good.

I did have a few questions and statements I did want to cover when I got back on line. 8/5/04

'A message to a new mother'

what can I say? you are a guinie pig just like the rest of us. You can read and ask for advice all you want, but what works is just taking one day at a time and finding your own family rhythm. I have no answers only suggestions. Take what you can use and toss the rest. This is your life now. It will be great! and it doesn't last forever.....let me repeat....."it doesn't last forever" what ever it is. It will move. You will fall in love with your husband all over again because there will be a side of him you've never seen before this child. The beauty and miracles are all yours. Enjoy it. I wish I had enjoyed it more than I did.

'Why did I marry a man?'

This was prompted by a conversation I has with 'the council of women'. These are the women of my homeschooling group. The question wa; " why is'nt my husband being more of an encouraging voice in my life?"

Answer I got?

Because what you give is what you get. and what you don't get from your husband you get from your support group......your friends. Hence the question "so why did I marry a man?"

The evenings are warmer now. The sounds of night life are in full swing. This has been unsusal since we've had such a lovely cool summer. I love being lulled by the sounds of the night for which I will be experiencing shortly.

~May we live our lives beyond separation,
knowing that nations and cultures are made up of individuals. May I be as one who rethinks my life, my actions, and aligns
to the glory we are all capable of. May I follow where I am spiritually guided, and embrace what is new that is of love.
May love flow through me and lend my individual life and light toward a better world.
