Thank You!

I can't believe I am actually here! I've missed my blog terribly. Could I have written down on paper what I needed to express? Hell No. That's not working for me. Thanks to all I have seen on my site for the past month.

The story goes like this;

Lighting hit a tree in our yard a few weeks ago. From the tree it zipped down the electric dog fence we have buried in the yard and headed straight for the garage where it melted and blew up the dog monitor, killed the garage door opener, jumped to our computer (dead) and down the hall to our bedroom television (dead). Whicked!! the poor tree might make it. The lighting hit at the very tip of the tree and spiraled all the way down the length of it. I can't tell if the lighting struck from the ground up or tree down. We ar suspicious about the eclectric dog fence being a draw for lighting. so when storm come trough we unplug it.

And then.......

So we started looking for another computer. This simply means........... Tom will look on E-bay and find one just as old as the one that died. What he didn't know was that it would cost twice as much as he waas thinking to replace it. ( we are talking about the box with the hardrive in it only). We lost the first two bids for an identical replacement (week one). Next he found one in Texas that had a "buy now" option and he did it.

see........My husband has to have an Apple. He doesn't want to mess with a PC because of all the "wares" you have to be up on, on a daily basis to keep virus's at bay. With Aplles you don't have these issues. And, come to find out.....our "older" model was one of the best of its kind and that it has options that the newer ones don't have.

Two days later the computer get sent.....Fed-X August 5th........ Crap. Okay. They have a name to make for themselves here. So three days go by and Tom tracks the shipment to Chicago. The next day we were expecting this computer. It didn't come. So he tracks it again and it was sent to Tampa Florida!!!! during the hurricans no less, that was last Friday! Since then it has been "in transit". They've lost my bussiness for sure.

So we are back on again and I am very glad for it. I have plenty of catch up to do in the blog and in my kids schooling.

~Every morning is a fresh beginning. Every day is the world made new. Today is a new day. Today is my world made new. I have lived all my life up to this moment, to come to this day. This moment--this day--is as good as any moment in all eternity. I shall make of this day--each moment of this day--a heaven on earth. This is my day of opportunity.--Dan Custer
