Tom picked up this beautiful piece of Bubinga Pomele. Origin: Equatorial Africa, from Cameroon and Gabon to southwest Niger, to the Congo region . Making wooden ink pens is what Tom had in mind. As soon as the package arrived, I looked at him in awe and said "you not making pens out of that are you?" He said "no way." So here it sits on our mantel as the beautiful piece that it is.

The sun hits me on the back of my shoulders as I sit here typing. All i want to do now is to turn and face the sun while it is still in my window.............
