Inspirational

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I
to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest
the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

North Manchester this weekend. A minister license given . The gift of gathering new and old friends for a meal and conversations. A very nice time had by all.
This is my first rosary. My hope is, that this rosary will brings what it is intended to bring for one who still holds on to what is familiar.

Akeelah and the Bee. A wonderful movie full of perseverance, chivalry, fear, friendships, strength and love. This is one of those movies you think about for days. Please go see Akeelah and the Bee.

Well, it's Monday and the rain has been on and off for the last two days. There is nothing better than the morning after a good, long, slow rain. The world looks so fresh and clean. The Dogwoods are at their peak for us now. I love looking out my windows at night see them glowing in the dark. It's a photo moment if someone had the right camera. The want is there. The tools are not.
