growth

I'm feeling so mucch growth these days. I feel like I am bursting from the seams. Can I hold on to it all? I must. I need to. I have to.

I have been so blessed with so many wonderful friends that I must be the richest person I know. Wow. Did I say that out loud?

I'm excited about this coming year for myself and my family. My growth i s only going to make life so much better for all of us. The word "guilt" is no longer a part of my vocabulary nor in my thoughts anymore. It has no possitive function what so ever other than it is too easy to feel guilty. That pit has been worn down enough by me. leave it.

Even though the church life isn't working for our family, I made a verbal commitment to continue this year and I will honor that. It certainly won't kill me and it wil give my husband time to himself that he never gets.

At the library once again in order to write and check e-mails. I hope within the week will have luck getting back on line. I think the computers at the library are much better than what we have a home. I also love the idea that I can steal away time for myslf at the library and get online. Just another little self care for me.

HELLO!

at the library I have to get on my blog. It has been too long. Boy! The power of a library card. I love it!!! All I have to do is beep the card and I have a laptop!! Tons of e-mails to delete and to catch up on. What a pain not having our computer working. See, we were struck by lighting last week and it took out several things, including our computer. It will be weeks before my "practical" husband finds another "box" to replace the old one. There is nothing new about our computer. It has been cobbled up from day one. It works great and it is fast and we have everything we need it to do except play games from the library for the kids. most of them are for windows. my husband is a huge fan of the Apple. We will not stray from the apple.....never! So there it is..used parts in all angles of my life. The cars, all the furnature, the house ( second owners, not bad) and the computer. We've saved tons of money!!!!
whatever.

It was like a cartoon. Amy's sleep-camp-out birthday night and Tom is trying to leave for work. In comes the pizza man and to follow the last guest ......Tom can get out. Check to sign, guest to recieve and my husband needing to get out of the driveway and to work. Tom comes in and one two three everyone was filed back out. what fun! whqt a life!

We had three hot days this week that required the use of a portbale air conditioner we have to lug out of the garage and fit in the front door. major process for comfort, but worth it. I can' t stand my house being closed up though. I need to be in contact with the outside smells of summer. other wise your house just smells like a small hot room full of bath breath people or old carpet.

Found a lunar month in the back yard yesterday. It looked damaged. So we just left it alone. Later that night I saw a humming-moth hovering around a hosta flower.

Gone to the beach three times this week. a record. The 'beach' is a small family own beach about 20 minutes from here. Great friends and a constant breeze and plenty of sun all three times.

Joan of Arcadia is on, gotta go.

as the summer continues

The firefies looked like christmas lights in the woods last night. thousands of them! A last minute camping trip and all went well. The yard looks great. The weather is still beautiful. This is one of the best 'weather' summers I've experienced in a long time. Haven't had to put on the air yet! Had very nice fourth with a small group of friends. the fireworks were the best! The cigar was a bit nasty.

I've enjoyed my 'free-time' this summer. It feels like this month will go by so fast and then back to the grind of school and churchlife. I want to continue being lost in this summer at least through this month but I can't . I have to plan and arrange. That sucks. But, I will steal another two weeks anyway. I can throw things together at the last minute if I have to. I want to have a party here before school starts. We have a burn pile in the back yard that when lit you will see it for miles. Any excuse to have a gathering!!!
